These terms apply to your use of The Raag Project website ("the site", "we", "our", "us"). By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
Using the site
- The site is free to use for personal, educational and non-commercial purposes.
- Please don't copy, scrape, republish or redistribute the site's content or data in bulk, or use it to train machine-learning models, without our written permission.
- Don't try to disrupt the site, get around its security, or access it in ways that place an unreasonable load on it.
Accuracy of content
The site is an educational reference. Music can be interpreted in more than one way, and song-to-raag attributions — especially for film and semi-classical songs — can be a matter of opinion or disputed. Content is provided for general information and may contain errors. If you spot one, please let us know.
Intellectual property
The site's original text, data compilations, design and code belong to The Raag Project and may not be reproduced without permission.
Song titles, lyrics, recordings, artwork and artist names belong to their respective owners. Short excerpts such as the opening line of a song are quoted only to identify the song and discuss its music. If you own rights in material on the site and believe it is used improperly, email theraagaproject@gmail.com with the details and we will review it promptly.
Contributions
If you send us corrections, song suggestions or other material (for example through the Contribute page), you confirm you're entitled to share it and allow us to use, edit and publish it on the site. We may decline or remove any contribution.
Third-party services and links
The site links to and embeds content from other services, such as YouTube, Spotify, Apple Music and Amazon Music. Their own terms and privacy policies apply when you use them, and we are not responsible for their content or availability.
Advertising and affiliate links
The site shows ads served by Google AdSense and includes affiliate links that may earn us a small commission. How these services use cookies and data is explained in our Privacy Policy.
No warranty and limitation of liability
The site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site or your reliance on its content. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have that cannot be limited by law.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Changes take effect when they are posted here, and the "Last updated" date above will change. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
