Overview
The Raag Project ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information is collected when you visit this site and how it is used.
Information We Collect
We do not directly collect or store any personal information. However, third-party services used on this site may collect data as described below.
- Usage data — pages visited, time on site, browser type, and device type may be collected by analytics services.
- Cookies — advertising and analytics partners may place cookies on your device to personalise ads and measure traffic.
- Preferences on your device — your language, saved raags and recently viewed raags are kept in your browser's local storage so the site remembers them. They are never sent to us, and you can remove them by clearing your browser's site data.
Your Privacy Choices
If you visit from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, you will be asked whether you agree to cookies and similar technologies being used for advertising and measurement. The choice is presented by Google's consent tool, which is certified under the IAB Transparency & Consent Framework. Until you agree, Google Analytics and Google AdSense do not use cookies or personal data for these purposes; Google may still show ads that are not personalised.
You can change your choice at any time with the link at the bottom of every page.
Google AdSense
This site uses Google AdSense to display advertisements. Google may use cookies and web beacons to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
- You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
- You can also opt out via the Network Advertising Initiative opt-out page, aboutads.info or, in Europe, youronlinechoices.eu.
- Learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used — for example which pages are visited and for how long — so we can improve it. Google Analytics sets cookies on this site and receives information about your visit, including your IP address, which Google uses to estimate your general location. See Google's Privacy Policy. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Affiliate Links
This site contains affiliate links to Amazon Music and Apple Music. If you click a link and make a purchase or sign up for a subscription, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. These links are clearly associated with music playback buttons on song cards.
Third-Party Links
This site links to YouTube and other external platforms. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. We encourage you to read their privacy policies.
Cookies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We don't write cookies ourselves; the cookies on this site come from Google Analytics (set on this site's domain) and Google AdSense.
You can instruct your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. However, some site features may not function properly without cookies.
Your Rights
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, data-protection law gives you rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the use of your personal data, and to withdraw consent at any time. If you live in a US state with a consumer privacy law (such as California), you can opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for targeted advertising. We do not sell personal information for money.
Because we don't hold personal data ourselves, the quickest way to use these rights is through the Privacy choices link, Google's Ads Settings and the opt-out pages above. For anything else, email us at the address below.
Children's Privacy
This site does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
